Growing ease - Easy
Light - 2-3 hours of sunlight in winter, bright indirect light in summer.  Tolerates light of a north window all year.
Temperature - Average house in winter, preferably in a cool spot (not over 70 degrees F).  Suffers in artificial heat over 75 degrees F.
Potting Soil - Half-and-Half of all purpose and humus
Water - Water about every three days, or often enough to keep the soil evenly moist.  Mist frequently.
Fertilizer - Feed all purpose plant food in fall and winter.  Feed blooming in spring and summer.  Follow container directions for frequency.

It must never suffer from bone-dry soil or from blasts of dry, forced air heat in winter.
